Gorelo provides a feature to maintain a list of stripped domains. When an email is received from a contact not present in our system, the system automatically creates a contact and a ticket. However, in situations where you want to avoid creating contacts from specific domains, the stripped domain feature is useful. Adding a domain to the stripped domain list prevents contact creation from emails received from that domain.

MSP domain as Stripped Domain

This feature is specifically designed to prevent technicians from being created as contacts. When technicians forward customer emails to the MSP's email to generate a ticket, the stripped domain feature helps avoid creating contacts from their email addresses. For your convenience, our system automatically adds the MSP's custom domain to the stripped domain list upon verification. Learn more about Custom domain verification in here.

Manage Stripped Domain

To manage stripped domains in Gorelo, navigate to Admin Settings > Email > Stripped Domain. Here you will see a list of domains.

To add a new stripped domain, click on + Stripped Domain button.

In a popup opened, input the domain and hit Save button.

To edit and delete the domain from the list of stripped domain, click on the Edit and Delete button present with domain in the list.

Ticket from a Stripped Domain

The ticket created from an email sent by a stripped domain does not include any client or contact information. Technicians can set Client and contact in the ticket.
