Install RMM on MacOS

Gorelo provides complete remote monitoring using the Gorelo agent that is installed on all workstations and servers. It gathers data on application and hardware operations, providing IT management tools for remote monitoring of desktops, networks, and system health.

This agent checks the performance and availability of these workstations and servers

continuously, with alerts generated at scheduled intervals for downtime, degradation, or predefined thresholds.

Gorelo have recently upgraded its monitoring and compatibility with the MacOS providing seamless tracking and examining of all Mac desktops, networks, and system health.

To install Gorelo Agent on MacOS, follow the below mentioned steps,

  1. Navigate to the Asset list and Hover over the 'โž• Asset' button and choose 'Download RMM.'

  2. This opens a popup that ask for Client and Location. Note: Selecting a Client is optional.

  3. If the Client and Location are selected, the system will associate with the specified Client and Location upon Agent installation.

  4. If a Client is not selected during the Agent installation, the asset can be adopted by a Client afterward. Once the asset is adopted, policies can be applied. Click here to learn more about Asset Adoption.

  5. Click on Request RMM Agent button.

  6. In the Next dialog box, Click on 'MacOS tab.'

  7. In this tab, click on the Copy button to copy MacOS installation Script.

  8. Paste and run the copied script in the Mac Terminal to download and install the agent on Mac. Once its complete, your device will start to show in Asset list.
