Gorelo offers you the chance to link your regular documents and your structured documents to tickets for easy reference in the checklists, private comments, and the ticket banner.

Link Documents in Private comments

When you're communicating with your colleagues through private comments in a ticket, you can easily link a Gorelo document for reference. Here's how:

  1. Go to ticket detail screen and navigate to the editor.

  2. Just type "//" in the comment box. You can use "//" in both collapses or extended editor

  3. A menu will pop up with the "document" option.

  4. It will display a list of Gorelo documents, with the structured document entries of the ticket's client at the top. After that, it will show a list of regular documents at either the MSP level or the ticket's client level.

  5. Next click on the document name you want to link and post in a comment.

  6. Your document's name will then appear in the editor as a clickable link. Now post the comment.

  7. Your comment will show the document as a link. If users click on it, they will be taken to the detailed view of the document.

Link Documents in checklist

  1. To link a document in checklist, type "//" in an item and then select the "document" option.

  2. This will bring up a list of Gorelo documents, with the structured document entries of the ticket's client at the top. After that, it will show a list of regular documents at either the MSP level or the ticket's client level.

  3. Now click on the document name you want to link. The selected document name will appear as a clickable link. You can access it by clicking on it.

Link Documents in Ticket Banner

You can also link documents in the ticket banner. Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to the ticket detail and find the three dots menu next to the ticket status.

  2. From the options, select "Banner" to open a pop-up.

  3. Type "//" and choose the "document" option.

  4. It will show you a list of Gorelo documents, with the structured document entries of the ticket's client at the top. After that, it will show a list of regular documents at either the MSP level or the ticket's client level.

  5. Its name will show up in the editor as a clickable link. Save the banner.

  6. Your banner will now appear at the top of the ticket details with a link to the document.
