Shortcuts in Gorelo are web based links that offer quick access to specific functions, features or information. Here are the steps on how to use shortcuts:

Step 1: Create Custom Field

First, you'll need to set up a Custom Field. Click here to learn on how to to create Custom Field.

Step 2: Use Custom Field in a Shortcut

  1. Next, Click on the Settings > Asset > Shortcuts icon from left navigation.

  2. Click on the the Add Shortcut button.

  3. Fill in all the necessary details for your shortcut. In the URL field, include your custom variable like this https://anydesk.com/{{$gorelo:asset.anydeskID}} and hit Save button.

Tip: To make the shortcut easily accessible on the Asset, turn on the "pinned" toggle.

Step 3: Set value of Custom Field in Asset

Next you need to set the value of the Custom field from Asset Detail so that it can be used by a shortcut. Click here to learn more on setting the value of a custom field in an asset.

Step 4: Trigger Shortcut from Asset
