Gorelo simplifies the process of recording time spent on tasks by introducing a ticket timer feature. This feature enables users to effortlessly track their time and provides customizable settings for enhanced flexibility.

Ticket Timer Settings

Within Gorelo's user settings, you have access to two specific settings related to the ticket timer feature. These settings allow you to customize how the ticket timer behaves to suit your preferences and workflow.

Start Timer on Accessing Ticket

This setting determines whether the ticket timer should automatically start when you access a ticket within Gorelo. By enabling this option and clicking "Update" button, the ticket timer will initiate as soon as you open a ticket.

Force Time Submission on Tab Close

With this setting, you can choose whether Gorelo should prompt you to submit your recorded time when you close the ticket tab after specific time. Enabling this option ensures that time entries are not accidentally lost and encourages timely submission of recorded time.

Ticket Timer in Tickets

If the "auto start timer" setting is enabled, the ticket timer will automatically begin when the ticket is opened in a tab. Otherwise, the user can manually start the timer by clicking on the "Play" button.

Additionally:

  • The timer can be paused by clicking on the pause icon.

  • The timer can be reset when it is paused by clicking on the reset icon.

  • To add time, hover over the running timer, and an "Add Time" button will fade into view. Clicking on it will automatically fetch its value and add it to the "time spent" field.

When you try to close a ticket tab while your timer is running beyond the duration specified in the settings, a pop-up window will appear prompting you to either save your time and close the tab or discard it and close the tab.
