The Checklists feature is here to help you stay on top of things! It'll help you document your tasks in order so you can prioritise the important stuff, stay on track, and work efficiently.

Checklists can also help you delegate tasks to the right person easily! Plus, you can even share your list with them so they can mark off their task as done once they've finished it.

Add a Checklist in a ticket

To add a checklist in ticket, follow the below mentioned steps,

1. Navigate to ticket detail to add checklist.

2. Click on the "+" and then choose Checklist.

3. A dialog box will open, input the checklist Name and click "Save."

4. This adds an empty checklist in a ticket. You are now ready to add items assign to technicians and schedule them.

Add Checklist Items

  • Start adding items in your checklist by simply typing into Name field and press enter key to save it.

  • You may also save it by clicking on the tick icon present at the corner.

  • You can also copy items from any other source and paste them into the "Name" block. Our system will automatically recognize the list and ask if you'd like to add each item as an individual line. Simply click "Yes" to add each item separately.

Tip: We offer simple text formatting, such as bold, italic, and underline. Just select the text you want to format and use keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl+B for bold, Ctrl+I for italic, and Ctrl+U for underline

Link Document in an Item

1. You can easily link a Gorelo document by typing "//" and selecting the "document" option.

2. This will bring up a list of Gorelo documents related to either MSP or the Client. Simply pick the document you want to link and save the item.

3. The selected document will then appear as a clickable link. You can access it by clicking on it.

Nesting Items

  • If you want to make a new or existing item nested, just go to that item and click the "Tab" key. It will become indented.

  • To remove the indent and un-nest the item, simply press "Shift+Tab."

Assignee

  • Add an assignee to that item, by click on Assignee icon, search assignee and Save.

  • You may also assign a checklist item to a Group. When you do this, it assigns all the members of the group to that item

Info: If the checklist person isn't already assigned to the ticket, adding them to a checklist item will also assign them to the ticket as a Assistant

Due Date

Set a due date of an item by clicking Calendar icon and select the date.

Sort Items

To sort items, just grab the sorting icon and move it above or below any item, and then let go. You can even sort nested items within their main items

Complete an Item

To mark an item as done, just click the little checkbox next to it

To Do list

  • You can also check out what items are assigned to you in your To-Do List. Just click the calendar icon in the top corner.

  • Then, select the "To-Do" tab, and you'll see all the things you still have to finish.

Save checklist as a template

To save time and effort from making the same checklist for different tickets over and over again, you can create a checklist template. Here's how:

1. Click the "Disk" button at the top right of the checklist.

2. Fill the fields and hit "Save" button

Visibility:

  • Public: Everyone in your MSP can see and use it. It's for sharing with the whole team.

  • Private: Only you, the person who created the checklist, can see and use it. It's your personal checklist.

  • Shortcut: You can access it quickly through ticket shortcuts only.
