Gorelo simplifies the process of using forms to collect and save important details about your MSP and customers, like their IT setup, challenges, and needs. To get started with Gorelo Forms, just follow the easy guide below.

Create simple forms in Gorelo

Gorelo has made it very easy to create simple form that can record large useful data. To add a form in Gorelo, follow these steps.

1. Click on the Side panel and Select "Forms."


2. In the forms section, click on "Create a Form."


3. This will open a new editor screen.


4. Input the desired title of the form.


5. Hover on the left side of the field and click on the "plus" icon.


6. This will open a list of input fields.


7. Click on the "Question + Answer" field to add it. Name the question as per requirement.

8. Click on the '"Question + Multiple choice" field to add it. Name the question and options as per requirement. you can add multiple option by clicking add option or simply enter.


9. Similarly, you can add multiple options in the form and name it as per your requirement.

10. You can delete a field by hovering over the field and click on the "bin" icon against it.


11. Similarly, you can change the position of the field by hovering over the field and click on the "Move" icon against it and drop it where you need.


13. Gorelo provides insertion of conditional logic in forms. If you want your end user to fill data based on a specific condition, then Gorelo can easily do that. Simply click on the 'plus' icon and select a field you want to add condition to example toggle.


15. Name the field respectively and then click 'plus.'


16. Select 'Conditional Logic' from option list.


17. The added block has the condition when and then. Select the field you want to apply condition in the when block and select its value from next the drop down, which in our case is "when toggle name is yes".


18. In the then clause, you need to define the action if your condition is met which can be any field below.

Note: Conational logic can be applied to MCQs, toggle, Checkboxes and Drop down.

The "When" block detects all these fields above the conditional block.

The "Then" block detects all the fields below the conditional block.

12. Once your form is ready and complete. Click the 'Save' button.


13. Your form will be successfully created.

Note: Forms can only be created and updated by technicians with the complete Form role.

Share Forms in Ticket

We know that managing large information with respect to multiple clients and contacts can be difficult to maintain and record in a structured manner. Gorelo helps you record this information by sharing these forms and saving the contacts or customers responses in a well organised manner.

To share forms in a ticket, follow the below mentioned steps,

1. Navigate to Ticket detail and expand the comment editor.


2. After typing desired text, click on the "Share Form Link" icon.


3. In the "Display as" section, type in the text you want to be a clickable link for your form, and then click on the form you want.


Tip: You can also search for a particular form through the search bar.

4. A confirmation dialog box will open, click 'Yes' to generate form link.


5. The form link will be added in the comment editor.


6. Post the comment to share the Form link.

Add Form response in ticket

1. Click on the form link that was shared via Gorelo editor.

  • Contacts can access this form link via email if the comment sent was of type public.

  • Technicain can access the form link sent in a private comment on the ticket.


2. The complete form will open in a new window.

3. Fill all the fields with relevant data.


4. Once, complete form is filled, click on "Submit."


5. The form has been successfully submitted on the ticket


6. You can vieew the submitted form on the ticket. The form response will be visible here. Click on "View Response" to view full version.


Tip: You can hide the response by clicking on "Hide."

Form Submissions without tickets

Forms can be shared outside ticket as well using the below mentioned steps,

1. On the Forms module, click on the form whose submissions link you want to generate.

2. On the right side, click on the Submission Link button.


3. A confirmation popup is displayed for link generation. Click Yes to continue.


The generated links get copied and now you can share it or access it.

Anyone who clicks on the link can fill out the form and submit it. The submissions made through this method won't be visible in the ticket details, but you can find them on the Form Page under "Submissions."

View Form Submissions

All the form submissions linked with or without ticket can be viewed in the following manner

1. On the Forms module, click on the form whose submissions you want to view.


2. On the right side under Submission tab, you will see a list of all the responses you've received, gathered neatly in one place

Tip: You can click on the refresh icon to see new form responses

Form Settings

Gorelo allows you to customize your form settings in the following manner

1. On the Forms module, click on the form whose settings you want to change.

2. To change the form name, click on the 'pen icon' that appear on its hover.


3. In the dialogue box, Enter the updated name and click 'Update.'


4. To add description to a form, click on the 'Pen icon' that appear on hovering under the edit button.


5. Add description in the space provided and click 'Save.'


6. To view additional settings, click on 'Settings' tab.


7. Specify your form the desired 'Group' you want from the drop-down menu.


8. You can click on 'Notify Group', to send a notification to the technicians of the group.


9. Specify your form the desired 'tag' you want from the drop-down menu or create a new tag from here.


10. Specify your form the desired 'client' you want from the drop-down menu.


11. To allow your form to be visible to your contacts in customer portal click on 'Allow in portal'.


12. Once you are done customizing, save the changes by click on the "Save Changes" button.
