Understanding and Subscribing to Notifications
While Alerts are specifically for devices and an important part of the Remote Monitoring Management system of Gorelo, Notifications are for the tickets and serves an important role in the Live Ticketing Helpdesk system of Gorelo.
Notifications update users about important ticket events/activities that they subscribed to in the notification subscription settings.
Subscribing to Notifications for Gorelo Web and Mobile App
You can only subscribe to and change notification settings from the Gorelo web app.
To subscribe to notifications for specific ticket-related events/activities, follow these steps:
- Click on the user account icon on the top right corner of the home screen. This icon shows your name initials.
- Click on Subscription in the drop-down. This will take you to the Notification Subscription window.
- You can set different notification subscriptions for Gorelo web and mobile platforms. After selecting the relevant notification triggers for each platform, click UPDATE.
Accessing the Notifications Panel on the Web App
The notifications panel on the Gorelo web app is accessible from anywhere on the app. It can be accessed instantly using the notification bell located on the top right corner of the app.
The panel slides in from the right side of the app as a partial window, without taking you off your current window and without disturbing your work.
Clicking on the ticket title in the notification will take you to the ticket details.
Accessing the Notifications Panel on the Mobile App
The notifications panel on the Gorelo mobile app is only accessible from the bell icon located on the top right corner of the Home screen.
To go to the Home screen, access the main menu and click Home.
