How to Create a Group

Groups are used to classify users/technicians into specific groups so that they can be sorted out and assigned tasks accordingly.   

There are 2 ways of creating a group. The quick method can be found in the “How to Add a New User” guide since it involves creating the new group directly from the “ADD USER” form. The dedicated option to create a new group will be discussed in this guide.

Step-1: Navigate

After logging into your Gorelo account, go to the “Settings” menu and click on “Groups” to open the GROUPS window.

Step-2: Click on the “+ Group”

Click on the “+ Group” button to open a brief “Add Group” pop-up form.

Step-3: Fill in required information 

Fill in the required fields and click “ADD”. The new group will be added to the list and will become available for use where necessary. 

Step-4: Edit/Update a Group

After a group has been created, it will appear in the Groups list on the GROUPS window. 

To update a group, you can click on the pen icon next to it, below “+ Group” button to open “Update Group” pop-up form and edit the group name, status and/or description.

Click “Update” to save the changes.
